Each year, Willow Glen High School’s Jour-
nalism class is responsible for writing, edit-
ing, producing, and printing multiple original
newspapers from the ground up. This would
not be possible without the help of the class’s
outstanding Fundraising and Finance Depart-
ment. We work together to raise enough mon-
ey to make the production of this newspaper
possible.
The development of the Ram Pages comes
with a responsibility to handle and manage the
funding of the newspaper. aOur class supports
Willow Glen’s local businesses by providing
opportunities to advertise and participate with-
in the production of the newspaper. It is our
department’s job to contact these businesses
through phone calls, emails and in person inter-
actions. We also receive donations from gener-
ous members of the Willow Glen community,
and use them to help generate the income for
the printing and production of the Ram Pag-
es. We create and facilitate events, such as
our upcoming flea market in March to further
gather funds for the class. We work alongside
the manager of the Student Bank, Mrs. Sharon
Robinson to have our finances approved, make
deposits, and manage our spending.
If you or someone you know is keened on ad-
vertising in our paper, or conducting a fund-
raiser to support our class, please reach out.
We also greatly appreciate donations to our
Journalism class, because this helps us im-
mensely to produce a high quality newspaper.
